This holiday season Goods for Good is teaming up with Merck to bring new school uniforms to 20,000 orphans and vulnerable children. Until December 31st, Merck is generously matching all donations up to $10,000. That means that your gift will help twice as many children this holiday season! Help us reach our goal by entering your donation amount below. For just $1 Goods for Good’s Tailor-in-Training Program can transform excess fabric into a new school uniform.

the program
Goods for Good provides excess fabric to local Malawian tailors-in-training. In just one year, these tailors have created thousands of new school uniforms out of 33,000 meters of fabric that would have otherwise gone to waste. Here are last year’s results:
22,000 children have new school uniforms, attend school more regularly, and report increased self-esteem and motivation.
Hundreds of community members have learned a valuable income-generating skill.
Parents and caregivers previously struggling to afford uniforms can now budget their limited resources on other necessities such as nutritional food and medical care.
