G4G Presents at the “Creating Worldwise Students for the 21st Century” Conference in Nebraska

Melissa Kushner, Founder and Executive Director of Goods for Good, was a key note speaker at the Nebraska Symposium on Bringing the World to Your Classroom. Organized by the Malaika Foundation in collaboration with the Nebraska Department of Education, February 25-26, 2008. Ms. Kushner challenged the 70 Nebraska teachers attending the symposium to “make a difference” in supplying goods for African children. Many of the teachers attending the Symposium enthusiastically offered to participate in Goods for Good’s Teachers Supply Closet initiative by organizing educational supplies drives in their schools. Dr. Natalie Hahn, the founder of the Malaika Foundation (www.malaikafoundation.org) is a board member of Goods for Good.
